The hanger difference

One of my Christmas gifts from my parents was a set of 50 lilac huggable hangers
I am sure you heard of them
But if not here is the link to them

I am not a clothes person.  I don't have a ton of stuff!

I typically wear jeans or black pants with a dress shirt under a sweater all winter long.
I wear everything in my closet

Here is my winter wardrobe before the transformation with the hangers

yep, that is it... that is ALL my clothes for the winter!
This is 1/2 of a normal size closet... the hubby has the other side and he does have more clothes than I do... I even added a new level for pants for him!
Now here is the closet after using the new hangers

More room in the closet means I can buy more clothes LOL
Here is another shot... I coordinated by color and moved the over too.

I usually put together my wardrobe for the workweek so under the clothes are pants
I am so excited that this is all the room that these hangers took up
I loved that I was able to hang silky and wider collar tops without them falling off
So far I am impressed by the hangers and will let you all know how they fair in a few weeks!

Thanks for stopping
Have a great day

Housekeeping

Sunday and Monday are my days off from work currently
Sunday is family day
So that leaves Monday...
I try to get everything done Housekeeping wise in the house on Monday
then during the week I am able to just do small daily tasks and straightening
Mind you I don't have children, just a hub, so my life is
... SIMPLE! (for now)
On Mondays I do what I call 10 minute tasks (a take on fly lady of sorts)
I set a timer for 10 minutes and I
DUST
Reset it for 10 and I
CHANGE THE SHEETS
Reset it for 10 and I
WIPE DOWN THE BATHROOM
Reset if for 10 and I
MOP THE FLOORS
Reset it for 10 and I
VACUUM

50 MINUTES IN ALL

We have a small home so all of this does get done sometimes with time to spare
I am NOT a neat person... I get distracted VERY easily so this schedule and the timer works for me
I also have some small, quick daily tasks that I do
DAILY I:
~Swish the toilet
~Wipe Counter in Bathroom
~Clear up clutter anywhere it is
~Check for laundry
~Empty and fill the dishwasher
~Make lunches and dinner
Then the small tasks :
Tuesday
ALL LAUNDRY COMPLETED & PUT AWAY
Wednesday
CLEAN OUT FRIDGE & GARBAGE
I am OFF from anything major...
Thursday, Friday, Saturday
These days I just do the daily tasks
There are the things I do monthly and seasonally too...
This schedule works for me and has for quite a while now
My home will never be spic and span... eat off the floor
But is always presentable and cozy and that is what matters most to me
I have time to do the important things in life like spend time with my hubby and craft and blog and read and ....
