After all... my name is Patricia, I am Irish by lineage and married an Irish lad!!
We are all about Parade Day and Banquets and Shamrocks and ... fun!
I have Irish decor (belleek) in my home all year long ~ The day after Valentines Day however I break out all the other goodies!
This year I am lucky because Easter is in April so I do not have to compete with St Patrick's Day for space for Easter!
DANNY BOY... Celtic Woman
The wreath and sign are from Etsy... the Celtic coasters are from the dollar tree

Here is Annie... she was a gift from my mother in law, Annie, who is a huge collector of all things Irish!

Too~ra~loo~ra~loo~ra
Irish Lullaby
Too~ra~loo~ra~loo~ra
Irish Lullaby
Over in Killarney
Many years ago,
Me Mither sang a song to me
In tones so sweet and low.
Just a simple little ditty,
In her good ould Irish way,
And l'd give the world if she could sing
That song to me this day.
Chorus:
"Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, Too-ra-loo-ra-li,
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, hush now, don't you cry!
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, Too-ra-loo-ra-li,
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, that's an Irish lullaby." The angel is from my Aunt and it has the Irish Blessing on it
Sign is from the dollar tree, I aged it and added the ribbons and fun fur!
Here is my other hutch... all ready for the party!
I added the ribbon and the shamrock twirls
I hung the irish sparkle on a blank frame!
Here is a little doll my In~Laws brought back from Ireland
The claddagh doily was my grandmas!
The claddagh doily was my grandmas!
In the kitchen I have a runner and a small sign and these awesome waffle weave towels... I am just thinking I should put one in the bathroom for a hand towel!
Thank you for stopping by!!

I love the green touches!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!! I never really thought of decorating for St Patty's day.... I don't know why... Love your mantle!!!
ReplyDelete(BTW- is that cake plate on your mantle from the Christmas Tree Shops? )
This makes me so happy! My Dad is more than half Irish, and my birthday is on the 18 of March- the day after Saint Patrick's Day. I need to decorate for this holiday. This is so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThat's really pretty! You don't see too much St Pat's day decorating (at least not as much as other holidays), so this looks fresh and unique.
ReplyDeleteOoops...I think my husband was signed in when I left my comment!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! I love St Patrick's Day because I get to wear green and dress all my boys in green :)
ReplyDeletesee you just educated me...I would have seen those coasters and would have never guessed they were Celtic symbols! Too cool! Everything looks so springy and green!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I will be back! YOU are on a roll and I can't wait to see what is next!
ReplyDeleteHugs for your efforts to help us decorate our homes for this worthy occassion!
Mona
Yep..IRISH here too! Also married an Irish lad. And had seven Irish lads and lassies. Patrick, Michael, Sandra(?) Daniel, Erin, Mary and Dawn (?)
I like all your St. Patty's things...I have nothing! That doilie is wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I have never seen such beautiful and fun St. Patrick's Day decor.
ReplyDeleteImpressed that you've already decorated for St. Pat's day! I like it all, but the 'Irish' sign is my favorite b/c I've seen none other like it before. TJ Maxx, here, had some good St. Pat's decor this year. I was tempted & there's still time! LOL!
ReplyDeletePatricia,
ReplyDeleteYay for green! Your home looks great! Can't wait to see what else you post. Thanks for all the great inspiration!!
best wishes,
Linda
What a cute wreath! Everything looks great!
ReplyDeleteManuela
You really do have some Irish going for you!
ReplyDeleteHow's this though - not as a competition by any means - I just got to thinking about all the things Irish in our family -
My girl's name - Meghan, born on St. P's Day, my maiden name - Murphy and my g-ma is part Irish on my mom's side - sends chills!
Love all your green though - I do try to balance the St.P's stuff so I don't forget Meghan's b-day - but she loves it! She'll be . . . 20 this year! Deep breath from me - wow!
You have a lot of beautiful Irish items, Patricia. Love them all and I love the green...Christine
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it all. I don't decorate for all the holidays, but you have done such a really wonderful job, it just makes me want to start finding things for St. Patrick's Day. I love the little doll by the fireplace and also the cutie on the chair. So pretty. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your "green" collection! You have a lot of unique St. Patrick's Day items!
ReplyDeleteLast week I posted a lot of my "green" on Marty's Cloche Party, scroll down to see!
Looking forward to more of your "green" in the future!
Katherine
Hi Patrica! Oh, I love seeing all of your 'green'! Love all your vignettes and the little Annie doll is adorable. I too have a 'wee bit' of the Irish in me too!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I'll say your ready! I too love St. Patty's day and look forward to it. I'm only a tad Irish, but that's plenty according to my Hubby! (what?) Hehehe... What else are you gonna make? I'm following your blog now so I don't miss a thing! SO nice to meet you Patricia!
ReplyDeleteReally Rainey

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing this again, and the new things added! I especially enjoyed reading the Irish lullabye! My first name is Lura and people used to sing that song to me!
ReplyDeleteKatherine
You have some gorgeous pieces - your Belleek pieces are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same taste in Irish music!! And the Irish lullaby is a favorite of mine, believe it or not one of the best renditions is one by Kenny Loggins!
Its great that there is St. Patrick's day so you can celebrate your Irish heritage to the full extent! Love all your Belleek - looks like you have lots of wonderful things!
ReplyDeleteDD
Happy St. Pat's I love everything. I thought I had a lot of stuff.
ReplyDeleteI am "GREEN" with envy! I am Irish and do not decorate for St. Patricks Day! I do not think its a thing the Irish do unlike Christmas where we go all out! I think I will make an effort for next year though after seeing your lovely effort!
ReplyDeleteI just noticed you have my same blog design. Great minds think alike. I thought the white center made pictures stand out better.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun Irish decor you have! I LOVE the belleek and am coveting a bit, lol. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Paddy's Day!
Blessings!
Gail
You have some truly lovely decorations here. I hope you have a wonderful Saint Patrick's Day! I love the song. My mom and my uncles used to sing it all the time :>)
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed seeing all of your Irish decorations!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection!
ReplyDeleteI was born in Fermanagh, so know Belleek well :)
Happy St Patrick's Day from N Ireland.
Patricia, you rock! You're definitely the one with the best St. Patrick's Day decor. I love the way you've woven together your precious Irish pieces with just-for-fun, inexpensive pieces. It all blends together to make a very festive whole!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I just love that song. The film Going My Way is a favorite of mine, and that scene always makes me cry.
So if you get a little girl, are you going to name her Erin? Or Colleen? Or do you have another wonderful Irish name up your sleeve?
Take care, sweetie!
Wow! What a lot of neat St. Paddy's Day decor. I love your hutches, too! And the lullaby is SO sweet. Great post! :-)
ReplyDeletexoxo
