Inspiration Notebook!

I am making over my desk in a "pretty in pink" theme...

I share the office with my hubby and he has his space which is most of the converted bedroom and I have mine which is a small desk that he bought for me so that I could blog!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I created this inspiration notebook for ideas and such that I write down when I am online or on the phone
I love to doodle too... I cannot wait to fill it all up!
I started with a typical college ruled notebook in red
I started to make it and then I realized that you would want to see it!
I covered one side with polka dot paper and then the other with striped
I left a small opening  as you can see
I decided to add some pink grosgrain ribbon and the image you can see from a vintage book
Here is the grosgrain ribbon attached with tacky glue
Here is the note book ready to be embellished
I ripped the sides of the image and then I distressed the  edges
I attached the image with tacky glue and rubbed the lid of the stamping pad over till smooth (yah I am super technical)
In addition to the image I also added a words from the book which read
"yet even beyond the farthest star, God knows the way"
Totally what I need to read and heed every day
I then began to tie pieces of ribbon to the book
I added the scalloped scrapbook circle...
with another circle and a vintage button and some fun fur!
I cannot wait to use this notebook!!!
Stay tuned for my coordinated desk makeover!
  1. This is a wonderful idea! Make your notebook pretty and itkind of sets the tone for your projects. I can't wait to see your "desk area". I am slowly working on doing something similar. I have no real space to work on my blog and other things.
  11. That is so what I need. I keep trying to have a notebook that is mine, but with 2 kids, somehow I keep losing it, or finding it with scribbles on the pages. This way no one will be able to say they didn't know it was mine. LOL
