I showed you what I did with the larger heart yesterday and now here is what I did with the smaller one...
I got both for 99cents!
So this project was under a buck if you count all the supplies!

I wanted to make this heart for our bathroom to use as a shelf sitter above our sink
I covered the heart with scrapbook paper ~ distressed the edges and added the ribbon around the edge
I then added a vintage star button and scalloped piece of vinyl chalkboard from the dollar tree
I wrote the name of our favorite beach
and placed it high above with all of my other VA Beach goodies...
My plan is to add a black and white picture to this heart soon!

this is a great idea. i am wanting to use some scrap paper for a project as well. did you use modge podge or something similar? great transformation!
