So far so good...

It has been one week today since I began my new years goals
So far I am really proud to say that each day I was able to stay on target with my calories on livestrong.com

I am ripping through Nicholas Sparks books like a mad woman... and yes,  I am comprehending them. My hubby cannot get over how much and how fast I read... each time I finish the book I give him a book report to prove that I really do understand it :)

Getting the craft area together is coming along nicely. It is pretty much organized now and I am able to work on some crafting. I am trying to organize the tools too for the hubby!

I have caught myself a few times this past week making a conscious decision to be positive when I hear something negative or want to think somethin negative. I keep reminding myself that I only have one go around in this life so why not be positive.

I have made time for me by reading and relaxing when I needed to.

I joined twitter but found that I do not like it at all!

I am starting on decorating our bedroom but because so many things need to be spray painted I am putting them off until the spring when I can paint (outside)

I am trying to keep in more contact with God by saying silent prayers all the time and thanking Him for the little things too.

I HAVE NOT exercised consiciously although I am more active in my daily life. I am finding that I am parking further away... breaking out into dance when I hear music and staying on my feet longer and being motivated to do things

So all in all... one week in and I feel great and I am doing great.
Today starts week 2!
I am a work in progress!

  4. I think you're ahead of the game if you feel good about what you are accomplishing so far. It sounds like you have reasonable goals. I didn't realize Nicholas Sparks had so many books.

Thanks for commenting on my blog tonight! Most craft stores seem to have the paint, as well as Home Depot and Lowe's. Even Hobby Lobby online, I noticed that when I was browsing today.
