Both of them took time out of their very busy life to spend time with us It was such a memorable weekend We ate at the POP SHOP the first night and then we had yummy Swedish fish gilato at Rita's We stood on the Rockey Steps (Art Museum) and we drove around South Street Actually all around Philly at night! The next morning we went to the heart of Philly and enjoyed a bagel at Hot Bagel and then toured the Liberty Bell ~ We saw Independence Hall And the place where Ben Franklin laid down the first plans for Independence We then toured Ben's house (a structure they say is Ben's) and we went to his museum We then headed for ice cream (11am) YUM!!! @ Franklin Fountain We stopped to see the school my brother teaches at and then toured this AWESOME church grounds I just love churches! Then off to NEW HOPE We walked the street and I found this cool kitchen shop where I bought these awesome cookie cutters and had a coke from an old machine We then toured Lambertville by car : we were all exhausted Stopped by Mickey D's and then vowed to meet later for dinner We took a nap WOHOO Then headed to this awesome Thai restaurant PAD THAI I NEVER had Thai and neither did the hub Boy was that a treat I had Buddha jumped over the fence and it was DELICIOUS After that we walked down South Street and enjoyed the many exciting happenings! The next morning we headed to THE OREGoN DINER for breakfast We then went to my brothers home for a quick goodbye and headed home It was a wonderful visit~ I think we are both still exhausted ... All is good though cuz all the sugar I ate... was negated by the MILES of walking I did! It all balances out in the end!
