New Year Goal Update

Once a month I do an update on my New Years goals...


Stop reading now if this bores you ~

If not, thanks for sticking with me... here is how I am progressing

My goals are in bold

1.50 lb Weight Loss ~  I cannot even begin to tell you how awesome I feel... I know I lost something because now my normal jeans are baggy and today I am wearing a smaller size jean!!!!! 
Oh and the hubby said he could tell I lost something too ~
he is not sure where though... lol! ~~ MEN!


Here are pics taken one month apart... aside from my hair cut... not too sure if there is much of a facial difference...YET!


My outlook is so much brighter on a lot of things (jobs to name one)
Oh and I can actually TASTE food... prior to this I would eat and never even taste a lot of things.
I am taking my time eating and although
 I am eating what I want (healthy) and NOT counting calories daily but I am still staying at about 1500 per day. (I did count for a few days just to see)
I am loving the spring weather because I can get outside and WALK!
I have been spending time each day outside and it is awesome!
I am so excited!!!
I am planning a Dr appt by next month so by then I hope  I will have a pound loss amount
Wohooo!



2.Make Room to Create ~ DONE


3.Conscious Decision to be positive~ I am still a work in progress
Neither of our job situations have changed but we are doing what we need to to be okay and I am feeling better about it.
I cannot base my happiness on my lack!

4.Make more time for ME...  this is still tough... I am feeling guilty when I do something for me... in time I guess!


5.Make more time for God... I am doing a lot of talking and a lot of listening to Him!


6.Read all of Nicholas Sparks books~ I am DONE!!!

7.Join Twitter ~ hated it!

8.Household Projects


•Finish decorating our bedroom ~ all that is left is to spray paint our mirror and move the curtain over our bed


•Find and re do a small desk for the office DONE


•drylock the basement Soon


•new front door and shutters Spring


•install lighting outside Spring
All the lights are now purchased we just need to install them


•new light fixtures in yard and on stoop Spring
purchased... just need to be installed

•cut bushes in front of house Spring


•cover for the air conditioner in the living room Spring


So that is it!
I am proud so far of what I have accomplished!

  1. Good for you, Patricia! It looks like you've really accomplished a lot thus far; the most exciting being your weight loss! It really does make a person feel better to exercise and eat healthier. Not only that, the weight reduction shows that you are capable of achieving something important to you, and that's a great feeling! Keep it up and good luck!

  5. This is just wonderful..and yes, see a change in your face! What a cutie you are! Many people don't know how difficult it is to lose weight. I know!

  7. Patricia, I am so impressed! Losing 50 lbs would be the goal of the decade for me! Congrats! Also I really admire you for your goal to spend more time with God! That will be the biggest blessing of all. So inspiring! I need to make some goals too!
