Losing 50 pounds


Here I am on January 1, 2009

UN~FIT
UN~HAPPY
UN~MOTIVATED
UN~ENTHUSED


When I say I have been on every "diet" this is true
When I say I am tired of  "dieting" this is true
When I say I have been fat my whole life this too is true

~I have had it ~
I am ready to make a change

I have read so many diet books and I have seen so many try and fail
I have decided that for one year I am going to
  • Do intentional exercise
  • Count calories
That is it 
I am NOT going to give up carbs
or
stop eating fat
or
stand on my head for 3 hours

or
stop eating anything yellow
or
walk on a treadmill for 17 hours

This year I am going to add steps to my day and fun to my workout
I am going to chart my calories according to my weight and frame
That is it

I tried all the rest and I am now going old school with

moderation and exercise

I am excited to begin
I am ready to begin

Oh and I also posted this at Ten in 10 
       
Goals:  exercise 5x/wk and monitor calories

    I need to find the same motivation.
    My winter clothes seemed to shrink again while in storage boxes this past summer.
    I have to change something.
