Beadboard love!

Making some more progress on the house

It is starting to feel more like HOME
I used the open concept above the fridge with the intention of having two baskets up there but changed my mind when I realized I had no place to put my tea apothecary chest
SO I placed it on the top of the fridge along with a basket filled with other tea accessories!

I am just thrilled with the way the bead board turned out above the sink
It even makes the 70's counter top not look so YUCK!
The cabinets are just what I wanted them to look like too

Here are two pictures of how the BB wallpaper turned out on the side of the cabinets
I still have to trim the paper... and then trim the cabs but I am thrilled with the result
Oh and you can probably see the new linoleum on the floor... that arrived yesterday

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They canceled the carpeting till Thursday and I am bummed!
I so wanted to be moved in by the weekend but it looks like it may not happen!
Oh well!
I guess!
  4. Hey Patricia, thanks for checking in on me. If you read my post, or even the title, you'd see that it's not going so well. EVerything's fine, but I'd just rather be doing just about anything other than packing, unpacking...blah, blah, blah! But it'll get done eventually. I am so glad to hear another good report on the bb wall paper. I plan on using it in my laundry room...eventually. lol
  5. Hello, Thank you for coming by for a visit, and for leaving such a sweet comment, I am so happy to put your name in the hat for my giveaway.
    Commenting on your post, it looks like everything will soon be done and it looks great. I have remodeled before and have never had things get done on time. lol. So maybe you will be finished soon, I know with the holidays coming on it will be great to have it finished.
    Blessings,
    Sue
