My hangup!

I will admit that I have an issue with towels in the bathroom

My issue is in that fact that I have some cute vintage looking doorknobs to hold towels but the towels end up on the floor because the towel slips right off

UGGH!

So I saw fluffy towels in a catalog that had a strip of grosgrain ribbon loop for hanging

On my list of things to do before we move was to put a loop on every hand and bath towel we use frequently

HMMNNN... there goes facebook time tonight!!

My hubby and I both love white towels and so I chose to add the loop to all the white towels in the bathroom

Then... I recently discovered a container of TOWELS from our wedding shower that we never used in 10 years! Oh boy! 

I guess we don't need new towels for our house! OOPS

I digress...

Here is what I used

White towels and preppy stripe grosgrain that I had on hand and actually have in my etsy shop

I refused to buy more ribbon as I have a ton of it... hence the etsy listing LOL

Oh and I also used a needle and clear nylon thread

I cut a loop of ribbon and heat sealed the ends so the ribbon wont fray when washed

For the hand towel I sewed the ribbon loop near the tag

DONE

I then took a bath towel and folded it in half and sewed the ribbon on the edge of the towel half

DONE

And here it is hanging on my shabby door knobs in my shabby chic beach bathroom
