If today was my last...

I would be just fine!

I could not thank my hubby enough for such a beautiful day

He surprised me and took today off of work and told me it was

MY DAY

WOW... a day all for me with him was like a kiss from heaven

We slept in and started off with a visit to 2 "sallys" and several consignment shops

Actually we stopped at every thrift and consignment shop we went by

We stopped for lunch before heading to our destination of Milford

What a quaint little town with shops and restaurants and really cool history

I included some random pics from the day

I have a few goodies to that I picked up along the way too... I will show them soon!

I love Celtic crosses and this one was no exception it was outside a church in Milford

If you click on this picture you can see a doe grazing by a wall... she is not the first mommy we saw on our travels today... we did see another on in the side of the road... I told the hubs that she must have been waiting for the kids to come home from camp! ... yes, I did!

This mansion is the home to one of our Governors.. though I am at the moment not sure who.... We were too late for a tour but will do that another time. I would love to see it

National Historic Site Laurel Hill Cemetery Established in 1821

I really wanted to walk through this cemetery... maybe on our return trip

I thought this planter in the center of a residential street was unique

Old theatre is still in operation and is currently showing "up" Okay so this is REAL and if I did not actually see it with my own eyes I would have laughed and looked it up on snopes... This is a log cabin home, built on top of a building ~ SEE.... I am serious... Talk about bringing work home with you!

We completed the day with dinner ~

& a visit to CTS so I could spend some of my bday GC

What a wonderful day spent with my bestest friend in the whole wide world

I love that he could have worked today but didn't and I love that he could have spent his day off doing what HE wanted to and he didn't

He spent it doing what I enjoy in life!

I am so blessed!
