Happy Birthday to me...

Today is my birthday

I am 35... yep, I said it, I am the BIG 35!

Where ever did the time go?

I can still remember high school like it was yesterday

I can say how old I am because I honestly don't feel it

I enjoy reflecting on the past year on my birthday to see how far I have come,

to see how much I have grown

I feel that the year between 34 and 35 has been WONDERFUL

No I did not travel the world or win the lottery

It was even better than all o that

I really can't explain it except to say that ... I FINALLY feel like a grown up! ~~~~~~~~~

The day is still young so I am not sure what it will bring but I do know that I am

HAPPY & BLESSED ~~~~~~~~

Last year I bought this St Francis statue at Christmas Tree Shops

with money that I got for my birthday

St Francis with hens and chickens in his birdbath and dead nettle in the pot... I wish it would STOP raining so I can take a good picture

I love St Francis... always have

I like his message

which I will leave this post with

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury,pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

That is how I feel on my 35th birthday!
