I am so excited to join in this cloche party and want to thank MARTY for hosting it
Here are my not authentic cloches
They don’t have knobs on the top of them… yet!
One is a bell shaped candle holder,
the other is a clock dome
and
the other is not even a cloche it is a jar in my beach bathroom but It does have a story to tell
The first cloche above is a small one with a birds nest with feathers perched on a pedestal cake plate that I bought at a consignment shop for 1.00 I added a sheer brown ribbon loops and then perched the cake plate on top of a stacking box lid
The glass is a bell shaped candle holder
The second cloche above is a larger one I fashioned from a nonworking pedestal clock
I added some moss, a sign, an egg , some sticks and flowers
The sign reads
"keep looking up that is where miracles come from"
I apologize because it is pictured in my dining room even though it lives in the living room the lighting was driving me CRAZY
Above is the cloche that I have in my bathroom
We love VA Beach
So this one contains beach glass, shells, sand and stone all from VA beach along with a small Adirondack chair and a cats meow village of the state of VA
I am always on the lookout for something to add to the top of them to make them real cloches but have yet to find something fun...
someday soon!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog... I update it almost daily with new projects and thoughts
You are more than welcome ANYTIME!
Thanks again so much to Marty for hosting this party!

Very nice Patricia. Love the sign in the second one :0)!
ReplyDeleteI've passed up a lot of those non working clocks -- didn't think about them actually being a cloche (and I'm always looking for inexpensive ones)

I've thought about making a cloche out of a non working anniversary clock, but haven't yet. You may have just inspired me. I love the sign in the 2nd one & love the story that goes with the last one.
