My husband and I are ready to buy a house
How exciting...
sort of but then again maybe not!
His style and my style are totally different
He likes
I like
MEET IN THE MIDDLE
Maybe... or at least I hope
Our home styles are polar opposites
I love large eat in kitchens with scrolling staircases and gingerbread trim in each corner
He likes room upon room, no steps and easy maintenance
So what's a girl to do?
TALK to the hubster I imagine...
A few times in the past we had the ranch house on the tip of our fingers... but they always for some reason fell through
MAYBE
It is time to look at my style of home...
or maybe it is time to meet in the middle with something with character and tradition but that is still easy to maintain and practical
I don't know
I do know that I am so ready to buy a home...
I am even willing to COMPROMISE
Because I know, I can make a cardboard box pretty!

ReplyDeleteHow exciting! We just bought our first home last summer and it's so exciting! It's so nice being able to paint and do WHATEVER you want! You will have so much fun! My hubby and I are COMPLETELY different too, I love your house choice as well! I like the older homes with all the old charm to them, love houses with odd rooms and neat little nooks and crannys, ya know?
