busy monday

today is a busy day for me but i wanted to stop
and
reflect on what a wonderful week i had last week
and
what a wonderful week i have planned for this week
i am on vacation for 2 weeks and last week was complete joy
i got to go places that i have not been able to get to and i got to do what i love,
homemaking
today i had my hair highlighted
i love it
i feel like a new woman

stairway to our home

today i am painting a breadbox that i plan to use for storage
almost done... paint on the box and the vine is painted on with berries!
i am painting a shelf that i bought at sallys
black shelf is done and it is on the hubbys night stand
he likes it~
i made strawberry granola bars (tastefully simple)
i am doing one load of laundry at a time instead of all the laundry which i usually do
and then the laundry gets wrinkled and sour and yucky
i contacted our caseworker to see if we moved up the BABY list

I DELETED A SECTION FROM HERE ...

tonight we are going for dinner
went to appleb's... it was not that great but it only cost us 5 bucks for a tip
i have a gift card
someone who did not like the place gave it to me... oops!
i am excited to spend time with the hubs
that was awesome
tomorrow i want to go thrifting again
meeting my partner in crime...
hopefully we will be able to see 2 homes that we want to see as well
on wed and thur i am going to visit my aunt with my mom...
friday is pretty open at this point
then the weekend we have a conference for the hubby
i enjoy being home more than anything... i enjoy taking care of my hubby and home more than anything
there is a lot going on right now and this break is just what i needed
i will share next week about all of that

  1. Sounds like you are enjoying your vacation! So sorry someone was rude to you at that party. You are above that childish mess so don't let that person ruin your day. You asked me about the fleur de lis on my lampshade. I got a piece of animal print felt from Hobby Lobby and traced a stencil on it and cut it out. Then I just hot glued it on. So easy!
