Those who know me, know I love to journal and keep things...

I have memory boxes for every stage in my life

My concern has been that I was worried about a baby book for our little miracle.

Our baby is not arriving in the traditional way, we are not finding out about him or her until our caseworker calls. We don't have the traditional 40 weeks to plan. We don't have an ultrasound picture or the excitement of telling everyone the baby's sex.

As I was looking and researching for a journal for the baby I came across many gorgeous books about little miracles and all started with pregnancy and baby showers and trips to the Dr and the hospital visit and the homecoming and the babies first month of life and all that good stuff

So I researched some more for a book to add all of our good stuff~

Like why we decided to adopt, like the preparation, like the phone call, like the homecoming. like babies first month with us which will not necessarily correspond with his or her first month of life

I finally came across a diary with this title

My Family, My Journey: A Baby Book for Adoptive Families

This book is about as perfect as any book I could think of

Of course our miracle will have a scrapbook, but I also want him or her to have a story in a book too, something concrete written in our handwriting, (hear that Rob) to take and read and discover how his or her arrival was unique and wonderful.

I am so excited for this journal to arrive from Amazon and even more excited to write in it for our little miracle!
